My Story
I’m Christina Groth, a Registered Psychologist and Certified Art Therapist with a deep commitment to helping people create meaningful, lasting change in their lives. My work is grounded in both clinical expertise and genuine human connection. I believe therapy should feel safe, collaborative, and tailored to who you are.
Over the years, I’ve developed a strong passion for supporting children, adolescents, and families, while also working with adults navigating anxiety, trauma, and life transitions. I’m especially drawn to approaches that go beyond traditional talk therapy, including EMDR and art therapy, allowing clients to process experiences in ways that feel natural and effective for them.
As a mother of two, now 17 and 22, I understand firsthand the complexity, joy, and challenges that come with parenting and growing alongside your children. This perspective deeply informs my work with families and youth, helping me meet clients with both professional insight and real-life understanding.
I also have specialized training in supporting first responders, recognizing the unique demands and pressures that come with serving others in high-stress roles. Providing a space where individuals feel understood, respected, and supported is at the core of everything I do.
At the heart of my practice is a simple goal: to make a meaningful difference. Whether you’re seeking support for yourself, your child, or your family, I’m here to help you move forward with clarity, resilience, and confidence in lasting change.
I Wrote a Book!
Drawing to Feel is an art therapy journal filled with creative prompts designed to support emotional expression, reflection, and self-discovery through art.
Not sure if art therapy is right for you?
This journal offers a chance to explore the process in your own way and at your own pace. Whether you’re looking for a creative outlet, a different way to process emotions, or simply a space to slow down and reconnect with yourself, Drawing to Feel invites you to put thoughts and feelings on paper—no artistic experience required.

Drawing to Feel offers a unique approach to mental wellness by combining creative expression with psychological insight, guided by a dedicated Psychology Professor at Prevail Psychology.
This innovative program empowers individuals to explore and process emotions through art, fostering self-awareness and healing in a supportive environment.
Rooted in the values of Empowering Minds, Healing Hearts, it complements Prevail Psychology’s commitment to personalized, evidence-based mental health care.
